SHADOW GENERATIONS IS GREAT! Story ret-cons aside.
Sonic Generations is a little buggier with questionable changes, but is still as excellent of a game as it always was.
You get two very good 3D boost Sonic games, which are different enough from each other to give you a lot of fun and replayability. I'd rec this to someone who hasn't yet played a Sonic game.

this is seriously so awesome. i enjoyed every minute! honestly, i would be so thrilled if we could get more sonic visual novels in this style! the art, characterization, and references are all on point. you could tell a lot of love went into making this. this game is an incredible surprise, especially for something made for april fool's 2023. a charming and great little game that i will definitely do repeat playthroughs of around this time of year!

short and sweet game based off of retro nintendo 64 platformers and the late 90's. awesome aesthetic, great controls, and gameplay that leaves you just wanting more! very justified for its cheap price tag. really wish it were longer, i'd play this for hours but it really only takes 40 minutes to complete

short and fun game that you play as a very round bee, has charming DKC-esque visuals and some secrets for replayability

Repetitive and short replay value, but fundamentally fun and enjoyable. It's also literally free to play so just pick it up now. My biggest hope is that this can be the basis for a more developed sprite-based beat-'em-up YAKUZA game. I'd love to see what the developers could accomplish if they fleshed this out. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

An adorably cute retro-style game with a rockin' 8-bit soundtrack of a princess as she travels through Hurtland, healing everyone she comes across. It's a game that's full of charm with its quirky dialogue and keeps itself going with its simple, yet engaging gameplay mechanics that makes it almost a bullethell with some RPG elements. I would recommend this game to anyone just looking for something to play, particularly to those who know they'll enjoy this sort of retro-throwback aesthetic. Plus, the game is free and it can be beaten in less than two hours! What do you have to lose? Would recommend.
