okay gameplay loop, but between the launcher for it deciding to practically re-download the entire game every update, and the shallow progression system, its honestly not worth it to me.

I didnt think i would revise my review or come back to it but since the introduction of community maps, forge, and firefight Infinite feels feature complete and for the first time in months my friends and i have spent nights playing halo. honestly i look forward to dlc and any additional updates to the game. while i was soured on the original launch and i dont like the cash shop being an aspect of halo, especially with the high pricing on skins looking at their competitors it is basically on par for pricing. i can further commend them for removing the FOMO from battlepasses.

It's a Decent game when it runs properly but the terrible optimization and netcode ensures it does not run properly. definitely not worth the ~$30 price tag, maybe $15 or $20

this game for me carried a lot of promises and expectations, I played this game since alpha (2013) and in the 4 years of playing it i have seen zero progression in their promises or making anything past a STALKER-esque TDM. All in the meanwhile they continue to make the game ever so more p2w in the way of weapons you buy with gold that have very lenient recoil, great CoF, and high material penetration in comparison to their "free" versions.At the same time not addressing the rampant lagswitchig, spawncamping, and general griefing. add to that their abyssmal server quality that ensures you cant play with ping under 200ms wheras on 100 person servers in other games like battlefield and planetside i rarely see ping over 70ms.

all in all, the game is pretty bad. it had a novel concept and could have grown into something fun but it became a blatant cash grab.

curiously addictive, this fast paced shooter is quite fun.
you dont have to really pay down anything, instead loadout cards are given through loot crates by random.
after that you just trade up/ re roll for what you want.
the only negative i can think of is that matchmaking can take a while and often times more experienced players jump ship to a team that has other veteran players. leading to less "close games" and more steamrolling.

from playing warface for roughly 20 hours i can say that it is a decently fun COD-like shooter. the graphics are quite dated but that ensures you get consistent frames even if you have a potato rig. the pros and cons:

+ easy to play and get kills in- even when i was sloshed drunk i still preformed adequately.
+ on the fly weapon customization- makes kitting out for your match just be a matter of what gun you want to pick

- the grindwall is real, have fun playing the game after rank 13 and at which point newer weapons are horrendously expensive unless you buy them with premium currency or grind out with boosts
- the wait time, having played at different hours of the day i can say that either in this point the community is dying or has consolidated to solely playing TDM/ Conquest gametype, any attempt to choose otherwise will net you a wait of over 4-5 minutes.
- the hacker/exploiter problem, having come from another FPS game where it is not uncommon to have people throw out hackusations I tread lightly with it. that being said, during my 20 hours it was a rollercoaster ride of seeing different people almost every other match hacking or exploiting. it could be a person doing an action that requires two players themselves to in the more extreme of cases a person with invulnerability and an aimbot
- the nail in the coffin for my group of friend's foray into warface was the moment one of us reached rank 13 we no longer could pair up with any other person below the rank.

This game has had a love-hate relationship with me over the time i have played it. IM is a fun Co-Op shooter with a decent online multiplayer mode. the atmosphere they are going for is by my opinion, immersive, during the Co-Op scenarios you will have an opportunity to pick up Logs a la SystemShock 2 or BioShock. immersion, tactical shooters, and scifi got me hooked on the game and I will say for me the money spent on it was well spent ($15 is like two meals for me).

The hate aspect I have is that at the current moment the game has little content finished, as such it is somewhat boring to repeat the same Deathmatch or Co-Op scenario. this will be easily rectified when the game is released. Currently I just play it in short bursts and suggest if you pick it up to do so too to avoid burnout.

moonbase alphja adventures is a brilliant psychological thriller where you take the role of an astronaut on the world's first moon settlement expedition. however tragedy strikes when the govenrment shuts down during a crisis where the station's microwave fails, rending them unable to microwave their pizza. faced with a sudden realization of their mortality they embark on an adventure to attempt to repair their damaged equipment. in a final message through a directed telecom array football legend john madden bids them good luck in their trecherous path ahead.
