Been playing video games since they were not video but text on a tty, a real one with a roll of brown paper. Have played almost every Rogue / like / lite / RPG out there. Have 700 hours in RUST, years in Minecraft, hundreds of hours in Deep Rock, hundreds more in Terraria. I can easily say that Valheim is the best video game I have ever played. It is not perfect but it does so much so right.

Sad that they new and improved this game to death, it is now just a tedious grind for costumes minus any of the fun the game had.

Review of the old game: This game has got IT, what ever that IT is. It is fun and you just want to play more. A few years ago I wrote a short review for Terraria: Its the new crack. Well DRG is the new crack now. I know drug jokes are poor taste but you get it right?!?

You must be hardcore jaded if you don't get a little enjoyment from this retro styled game with amazing cringe worthy humor.
At the sale price it was the best thing I bought all day.

Just good fun. All the FPS you need with some rogue like progression you crave. Art style is top notch and the humor is just right. FYI The pirates lie, they are murders.

Kinda like "Sir, Your being Hunted" on 'roids.
