How does one get back on their feet after losing themselves? Is it just pure luck or salvation?

Took me a while to realize but you're right, I'm the worst. It's all because of me that things went downhill. Everywhere I go, I bring chaos. Every time I act righteous, it turns into sinister thoughts. One must go down the dark path in order for others to find the right path.
