Stopped while playing the tutorial, because it started to piss me off while reading the instructions on how to use the exploit.
This game only has one console. ever heard of multi-tasking?

Oh, and not to mention, if I press ENTER in the plot device before the actual title screen, the game crashes.
"Press ENTER to continue"? yeah. PRESS ENTER TO UNINSTALL.

If you hate one of your friends, just give them this as a present.

This is some CSI-hacking arcade game, where AI controlled player can and will wipe you directly off the map, despite being bounced and lots of time on the trace left. You want to know how bad the game is?
I just lost the game. on the first mission after the tutorial. ON ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EASY MODE.
The game in a nutshell: hack firewall, bounce, use EMP and DDOS, bounce, download money, buy stuff, bounce, hack firewall.
repeat. oh and sometimes you have to randomly move sliders to match something. just move them until they get stuck, wait. Use DDOS, wait. Use EMP, wait. Wait, wait, wait. If you turn off the music, you see how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring this is.
If I didn't have depression already, I would have it by now.

If you want a proper hacking simulator, which actually uses your brain, try "NITE Team 4". You won't regret it.

I got this game because I like hacking games and ignored the bad reviews.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, biggest failure.
Can I have my 71 cents back? Boredom never was this expensive.

Bock mal ein paar Firmen zu 0wn3n ohne dafür in Knast zu müssen?
Stehst du auf harte Kopfnüsse und Puzzle?
Spielst du gern ARGs?
Kryptographie und Pattern Recognition ist dein Ding?

Dann ist NITE Team 4 genau das richtige für dich.

Ich empfehle VOR DEM KAUF die Demo zu spielen und sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen; heißt das Tutorial zu absolvieren und die ersten Missionen zu knacken.
In der Demo ist "Open World" und "Bounty" nicht verfügbar und ich sag euch jetzt schon, diese Missionen haben es gewaltig in sich.
Teilweise muss man ins Real-Life springen und dort einige Suchen starten, bevor man im Game weiterkann - aber man muss erst wissen wonach man überhaupt sucht.
Ich würde sagen, NT4 bleibt der TBW Formel treu, verlegt allerdings einige Elemente ins Game.

Wer Lust hat, selbst einen "Auftrag" zu erstellen, kann sich das Developer Paket "Network Administrator" für schlappe 50 Tacken dazu kaufen.. Schade, daß das nicht direkt von Anfang an im Game enthalten ist.

Ein Tip von mir: Macht euch Notizen. Papier, das ingame Notepad... Teilweise ist soviel auf einmal, daß man den Überblick verliert und stecken bleibt.
Stecken bleiben passiert relativ häufig, vor allem bei Xkeyscore relevanten und RL Interaktionen.
Wenn es sein muss, kartographiert das Netzwerk, in dem ihr seid. Vielleicht fällt euch dann was auf, was ihr vergessen haben könntet.

Falls ihr an Open World Events teilnehmen solltet, kann es vorkommen, daß ihr im RL Mails verschicken müsst. Nehmt da nicht unbedingt eure private Email-Adresse.

If you have/had depression like me, you may stumble on this game and it may pick your wierdest curiosity.
it did for me so I got this and oh boy it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring, I started yawning since then. I have more fun writing this review, trust me.
I know, it's supposed to give you the impression of depression, but it does not.
It gives you the impression of someone who actually wants to KILL HIMSELF soon, which is quite nice.
Should have named the "game" (it's not a game) "SUICIDE ME", if you die you win.

Each page gives you a brief synopsis, followed by 2 to 4 answers, ranging from positive to negative.
The most positive answer is locked by default, so you have to pick either a some what positive answer or up to two negatives, which revolve doing nothing or act like a social outcast.
Every answer should have been "go to bed" it wouldn't change much in that horrible fanfic.

Most annoying this is to have to read the links, which lead to a page, with some background.
So, you are constantly switching back and forth to the page you are supposed to read and reading background ♥♥♥♥ no one cares and give an answer "you think fits" or at least the developer think would fit.
Just read the page, background doesn't matter at all. Don't think. just pick an answer, go for the worse, detached ones to get the highscore.

After a while the game changes one of the boxes below, describing your mental state.
You can influence that by picking answers - obviously.
The only quest here is either make those boxes positive, which actually lets this boring diary appear like a game.
Or make them worse, which people with dark humor (or masochism) can use that as a competition for the worst gameplay session.
Man, I really want to make them say "KILL YOURSELF, KILL YOURSELF, KILL YOURSELF, KILL YOURSELF, KILL YOURSELF", which would be sadisticly fun. I don't care about the protagonist here.
I think I won't be touching this "thing" again unless I can't willingly succumb to despair on my own and need a nudge for my mental state into the right direction to crash to the floor.

Now, back to the actual content.

It makes you depressed - well at least a similar feeling of that, called "boredom".
Here is where the game excels and manages that very good.
With heavy depression, you wouldn't even play this. You would be too powerless to read most of it.
I hate to read ♥♥♥♥ about depression or someone else having this "illness",
but it's nothing you can order at Amazon to experience yourself.
If I could package depression and ship it, man, I'd be rich by now.

So, to give a brief overview about depression:
- You feel constantly alone
- You feel constanly tired
- You don't want to talk to people
- Doing your daily stuff make you even more tired and you ask yourself if it's worth it.
- You do everything to do something else. "Make food? bleh, I eat Cookies instead."
- You try to do everything right to everyone to avoid arguments.
- Even small critisism can throw you into the abyss, because you have no balls to deal with it.
- You are single, because no one wants a detached, deranged mind which is sad all the time.
- Pets suck as they need care, you don't want to do.
- You doubt your own existence as worthy.
- WTS: A box of depression, contents: Disappointment. $4,99 PM me.

Dieses Spiel ist ein Witz. Crasht direkt nach dem Start.
Das einzige, was man hier machen könnte wäre, es zu modden, damit es ohne diese dämliche Kamera läuft.
In einem der Filmdateien dieses Spiels, spielt jemand mit etwas, was aussieht wie eine Wiimote mit Nunchaku.
Das Spiel hat Keybindings für die zusätzlichen Aktionen, wieso es allerdings crasht ist außerhalb meiner Möglichkeiten.
Wenn ich die Dateien in meinen Portal 2 Ordner stecke, stürzt Portal 2 ab.
Das soll ein Modder fixen.

Die Qualität dieses Spiels kommt nah an Portal 2 ran.
Story ist interessant, Grafik typisch Source-Engine-like.
Sprachausgabe ist gut gemacht, leider nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

Das Problem, was ich mit diesem Game habe: Die Testkammern.
Während die am Anfang noch ganz herausfordernd waren, sind die späteren ziemlich extrem, HInweis: Ich habe den Story Modus gespielt, wo die Rätsel bereits LEICHTER wurden.
Das Game hat die alten Rätsel im Advanced Modus.

Fazit: Sehr gut gemacht, aber frustrierend.

Instead of buying 3 seperate DLC, just get this and get all of them.
No, this is no advertise. Srsly.

The most DLC you will need anyway is:
- Castithan Charge (for the Swords)
- Arkbreaker (to get Arks down)
and probably 7th Legion or any other, thats 3.
Don't waste money, just get this.

You will get a lot of benefits - like 1000 Ark forge to invest into weapons.
Clothers, Cars, oh what not....


If you didn't install Defiance over Steam, here is a little trick to get the DLC key w/o downloading 15 GB again:
Go to the main game here on Steam and "install". Pause the download after 30 MB so it pops up in your library.
Buy this (or any other DLC) and get your Productkey by clicking "Library" -> "Defiance" -> "Productkey".
Copy that to Notepad or just keep it in the clipboard.
Abort the steam download.

Start the game with Glyph and login (doesn't matter if it is a non-steam or steam version at that point).
Open EGO menu, "Shop", click the 3rd Tab on the top, and should it prompt you for a code.
Paste the key there with CTRL+V (or STRG+V). When it says "Code valid"(or so), ESC the menu and reenter it.
Have fun redeeming your stuff.

Oh, just a little hint. You may have to redesign your character after you logout...
Which is convenient... not.
