I have been playing Apex Legends since it came out in February of 2019. I took a break during the middle of season 2 and decided to replay it when season 5 started. I have not been able to stop playing since. I stopped initially because I was just not good at the game. My partner was miles better than me at the time and we were being matched with his level of skill. So our games usually resulted in loss after loss. When I brought myself back into the Apex Legends fold, I solo queued and do not regret that decision. I was able to relearn essential skills and drop bad habits. When I played with my friend, it was with a newfound vigor for the game. I felt like I was contributing and not being a liability.

When Apex Legends moved from Origin to Steam, I was able to introduce it to my friend group. Now we all play pretty consistently. We aren't pros, but we aren't terrible either.

Apex Legends is a hard game. It is my first Battle Royale game and I can't see myself playing any other. I watched gameplay footage of Fortnite and the like, but the Time to Kill and Gun gameplay felt wrong to me. Respawn has nailed this formula. Even though the market is overly saturated with Battle Royales, this is the only one where it feels polished. It finally felt like I found a game where it would scratch my FPS itch.

I look forward for the consistent updates and the new content.

Indepth, an instant classic, and developers that listen to the community. I have been playing since the Beta and even then it felt very polished and developed. I love how this has grown and changed throughout the updates. The developers really perfected this game and truly listen to the feedback. This is a fun game with a great community. ROCK + STONE!

I couldn't stop playing this game. It has unbelievable amount of depth. The characters are all well constructed and memorable. Building your persona from the ground up has never felt better. It is a visual novel at its finest. Do not expect any fighting. Expect mental anguish, political philosophies, insane ramblings, and Cuno.

This is a game that I will remember forever. A genre defining game and incredibly unique. Go play it and battle with yourself.
