As a big fan of survival/crafting/base-building games, I instantly grabbed Forever Skies as soon as it popped on my radar. I would describe this game as a post-apocalyptic child of Raft and Subnautica. While the game is still in early access, I had a blast playing through most of what it currently offers. I'll definitely be on the lookout for future updates and eagerly await what the future of Forever Skies has in store.

My best memory from playing the game would have to be during my first run on Permadeath. At the starting area, I had a little too much fun messing with Photophobia, then fell off into the abyss as I struggled to make my first airship... All while screen-sharing the chaos to a friend on discord. 💀

I purchased the game on sale, only seeing the high praise, but knowing nothing more than the unique blinking mechanic to the game. Going in, I thought the story was very touching and the mostly "hands off" experience really sucked you into the story. Without spoiling the story I will say that it was an emotional game, but it really hit me and got me crying during the last bit of dialogue before the credits.

All in all, I would recommend this game to anyone that wants to experience a touching story whilst also indulging in the unique blink controls. 10/10

First time playing a Watakubi VN and I must say the production quality was top!

Can't really say anything negative really considering the high quality visuals, entertaining story line, and advanced ui/text settings. The characters all were unique in their appearance & behavior, but they mixed together very well for an overall enjoyable VN. Playtime for me (with Denpasoft dlc and listening to audios) was roughly 10-12 hours though I went at a very leisurely pace.

Definitely recommend adding this VN to your library.
