It's just monster train 1 but with more features. If you liked the first one you are guaranteed to like this one. If you are worried about missing the previous clans from the first game, you can unlock them in this one for the ability to make some truly powerful combos.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, it's a roguelike deckbuilder where enemies need to fight through three floors of your units. This game is very satisfying to build decks on. The nature of picking two clans per run allows you to get really creative with the way units and upgrades synergize. You could, for example, use one clan that gives your guys the ability to revive and another clan to multiply your buffs, granting your units essentially eternal life. That's just one of the rather simple combos you can do. Can't recommend this enough. Great game.

This game is truly outstanding. It is a genuine work of art in so many different departments.

It's a beautiful game. The world is beautiful and the graphics are great.
The soundtrack is fantastic. One of my favorite video game soundtracks in a long time.
The gameplay is addicting. JRPG party style mixed with dodging and parrying is such a good idea. The characters all feel unique from each other and are fun to play.
The story is compelling. From the opening, you're already wondering so much about the world, and there is so much to learn.
The writing is great. The characters are all so believable and likeable. I love seeing them interact. The story writing is also very interesting as well.
There's a ton to do, lots of bosses to fight, and the buildcraft is satisfying.

I don't have many criticisms, this game is very good and worth your money. GOTY contender easily.
I think the damage maybe scales up a bit too fast and can trivialize some fights but that might also be because I am building everyone as a glass cannon. And why not, it's too satisfying to just parry everything when learning a fight. A little clunky on movement sometimes and a little buggy. Some performance hitches. Those are my only real criticisms.

Overall, this is a wonderful game. I kinda recommend turning down the post processing effects, I think the depth of field is too aggressive but that's a preference thing.

Turn based auto battler where you and your enemy both lay out boards of units to see who comes out on top. Tons of strategic depth and lots of different combinations that work well together. Overall very satisfying and competitive.

It's a fun tower defense if you like mazing. Making mazes using tetris pieces is the core of this game. If you are into that you will probably like this game.

I really like this auto battler. It's really fun once you get the hang of it and a good game to play while watching things. It's satisfying to make combos with the items and there is a lot of variety in the ways you can put your teams together.

I do think the balance is a little wonky but I think that comes with the territory. Some items and characters synergize in really ludicrous ways. That can be fun too though, it's enjoyable to come across a combo that works extremely well.

This game also gets added points for me in that it has a detailed damage breakdown, so you can really see what effects are contributing to a builds success. Overall it's just a fun buildcrafting game and very much worth the cost.

Great auto battler!

Honestly just don't really like this. There's a lot about it that I SHOULD like. I like auto battlers, and I like rogue deckbuilders. Somehow they don't marry well in this entry. I think the maps are too small, the enemy combos are unsatisfying, and I struggle to combine meaningful combos in my own decks. Haven't really enjoyed this game yet. I may try it a bit more if it gets updated with more races. Don't really recommend in its current state. It's lacking.

Now that I've beaten the game on max difficulty I feel like I can give an honest review. This game is pretty fun but it's not fair. Certain enemy loadouts are insanely powerful, and certain tanks you can get are just better than others. I guess that's the nature of roguelike but it can lead to situations where you nearly wipe on an early level and stomp the final level.

I actually think this game is worth the cost though. Satisfying (and simple) roguelike RTS. It's rigid and laggy sometimes but overall enjoyable. Beware the blob tanks with lazers behind them, unbalanced enemy comp relative to anything else in the game.

It's a bad game but it was worth it for a dollar I guess LOL

There's a lot of things about this game that are just wildly irritating but it's not worth really getting into because it's just a gimmick game. Don't spend more than a dollar on it, technically it is worth it at that price point. Thumbs up because it's a harmless phone game copy lmao

Bloated with weird battle passes, really slow progression for unlocking more characters, and overall just not very fun. If you're into the Search and Destroy style of game, you would certainly be better off just playing CSGO or Valorant.

I was angry with the game and had given it a negative review over the removal of the online portion of the game. The latest update has brought back leaderboards and online functionality, as well as implied that there will be further updates. Happy to hear this game is back in development!
