It's pretty fun, feels pretty good but it's VERY simple. There's not that much diversity to the weapons just weird modifiers over the same few base types. I don't feel ripped off because it was free, but this feels like someones school project. Big potential if expanded, especially if you start to get co-op and maybe a talent progression system or something. Passable gimmick as it is now.

It's a fun game with a unique combat system that lets you manipulate a timeline of events. I find this makes combat a bit easy and turns it into more of a puzzle where you're trying to find the right actions to get away without taking damage. Aside from that, the story is interesting enough and I really enjoy the music. Would recommend just to try out the combat.

Really fun tile-based RPG that plays a bit like XCOM, so if you liked that, chances are you will like this. The game is really successful at setting up a grim tone through the art style, enemy design, killer music and interesting color play.

The gameplay loop is pretty satisfying, and the game does a great job of making you care about your choices, both inside and outside combat. You're meant to repeatedly tackle the game and fail a couple times, gaining buffs for subsequent runs. Health loss is permanent, and there's no way to recover except for by sacrificing other equally powerful units. This can have you sometimes heroically satisfying your favorite units just so you can make it a little bit further. You can always revive lost daughters, so you never completely "lose" your units. You'll spend a couple ruins beefing up your A-squad and then tackle the bosses.

Good stuff
-It's fun
-Satisfying when your units get stronger
-Cool combos between the various classes, if you set it up right
-Great ambiance
-Great music

I really like this game, but there's a couple things I would point out as flaws.
-Needs more map/enemy options. All the fights are scripted events, with sometimes slight variations. With how much you re-encounter certain fights, even in the same run, it can get easy/uninteresting. Gets better as you get further.
-Some bugs need fixin'. I've encountered a couple cases where melee enemies gain infinite range for no reason and a big part of this game is managing where your enemies are and when they can attack. Free hits suck, that damage can't be recovered without sacrifices. Aside from that, some annoying UI situations where you can't cast spells for a bit, warning tiles for attacks not going away. Had one crash to desktop but no progress lost.

I like the concept, but it's WAY too random. RNG dictates EVERYTHING. That kind of tones down when you get further in a run, but way too many things can't be planned.

Chance to get the pieces you need on the board.
Chance for them to be near each other.
Chance for you to get the stronger and necessary overcharge/link pieces.
Chance to hit shots based on evasion. (Especially irritating when you can fail a mission based on turns spent, but RNG can have you miss over half of your shots on a 20% dice roll. That's just not fun.)
Chance to get good blueprints (or just useless trash)
Chance to fail missions because you didn't bargain high enough? But if only the most expensive option works, why give me a choice? why not let me raise my choice if there is bad feedback from the NPC? This one blew my mind.

Again, concept is interesting, but I need to have more control over the outcome of the games I enjoy.

Fun Roguelite FPS. Uses a similar element system to Borderlands, but there's also a combination effect if you stack multiple. The guns are satisfying, and it's fun to try and shape a build. Extra fun when all your modifiers just click and support each other. Better with other people as you can drop modifiers to help shape each others builds in a run. There's a bit of long-term progression through unlocks and perks, at 30 hours I am only missing a couple guns and am almost max level.

Biggest criticism is just how lite the content is. There is replay value, but there's only the three stages with no option to keep your run going once you clear the final boss. Actively being updated, which helps.

Fun little platformer/minigame party game. There's not much to the control scheme, so the game is very accessible. It's amusing and humorous while also providing tense moments. I think it needs more content (maps and games, not cosmetics.) More has been promised, they're going with a season based release schedule with a free battle-pass. They could have charged for it but didn't so props for that.

Desperately needs a server upgrade. Some times I end up needing to reform the party 4-5 times before everyone in my group can make it into the same game.

Would recommend, it's fun, and 20 seems a fair price so long as they continue to update.

This is just one demo mission, but it gives you a good idea of what kind of game you'll expect. It plays like a bullet hell ARPG. I liked the way you could freely put any of the weapons on any slot for either hand, and then mod those guns. If there is a wealth of weapons and mods, the crafting and shooting could get really fun. Will be interesting to see how in-depth the RPG mechanics get.

The other aspect of the game is all the base building stuff, which feels like a lite factory game with a focus on TD elements. The emphasis is more on the TD and action, and I like that.

A really good indie rogue-like. Fun alone or with friends. Great replayability, no real commitment required. This has been my fav indie game of the year easily. Well worth the full price (which is quite cheap). A little lacking in base content, but it is being steadily updated. There is unofficial mod support (not on steam workshop), you just have to look for it online.
