Way better than it has any right being for effectively being a roblox shooter. Very satisfying to play for the most part, and runs really well considering you can have 254 people on a server.

The game is ugly, but the shooting mechanics are very good. Local chat adds a good level of humor. I would say this it is absolutely worth the 20$ it asks for. Even better with friends.

EDIT SINCE CHAPTER 3 CAME OUT:
It's amazing. Great game, steady content updates, super satisfying and very fun to play with friends. WASD movement on an ARPG style control scheme works really well. This game is very worth the cost. All 3 chapters are out now and it feels a lot more complete. Good roguelike co op fun!

I'll start by saying that this game is really fun. The characters feel great and unique, the combat is satisfying, the feel is wonderful.

Major downside right now is that the content is certainly lacking. It's one map, and your run will consist of a few "days" on that one map until you are forced to fight the boss, which will take about 30 minutes. I find myself wishing i could carry a build forward to another stage every single run, so once the promised chapters 2-3 come out, this will be a very good game.

Overall, I do recommend, and I assume that it will only get better with content!

This game slaps and I love it.

So far I hate this. Which is crazy because I normally love this style of game. It's just crazy to me that it pits you against two AI who seemingly focus you while they also produce faster. Am I supposed to just grind until I have more upgrades on the same 4 maps? If one of the AI suicides by just continuously sending guys at you, you can't stop the other one from building up a massive economy and becoming unstoppable. I'm at the mercy of hoping they attack each other. Normally I could move and micro, but I'm already stuck on a stage where I have no movement because they spawn me in a trap. Just seems like horrible design to need to rely on the AI making a bad choice to win, Going to try and enjoy this more, but I'm really not impressed so far.

Auto battler RTS where you control hordes of infinitely spawning units. It's simple, it's straightforward, and it's pretty fun if you're into this sort of thing. You won't have direct control over your units, but you can tell them more or less where to go. Definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I got my money's worth and then some playing through the game on impossible difficulty. Also has received some updates and support since I initially picked it up, including a DLC.

Can't really recommend this. IF you are into Risk of Rain or Gunfire Reborn, you won't get that same level of depth from this game. I'll try to list out all the things I found that I liked about the game and all the things I didn't like. There's more that I don't like about this game than what I enjoy

I did like:
The aesthetic at first
Gunplay was pretty satisfying at first
The idea of long term progression
Cyberpunk visuals are cool, I guess.

I didn't like:
Actually progressing the game. It's pretty annoying to play the same maps, sometimes multiple times in a row because the map pool is so low per region.
The player is soooooooooo slow. Makes the speed after dash upgrade mandatory. If you melee a guy, you'll probably blow up a car too and likely won't be able to cover the ground fast enough to stop taking damage from it blowing up..
Why are all the weapon upgrades locked to specific weapons? Strongly discourages experimenting. Very unsatisfying when a boss just drops a mod for a gun you hate.
Pretty bad sound design. All the guns sound like annoying airsoft guns. Songs get annoying too fast, the loops are too short.

Idk, you might like this, but it fell very short for me when I was looking for something on the same level as Risk or Gunfire. I can't help but think this game would have been more exciting as a pvp thing where everyones trying to land skillshots on eachother.

Turns out it's pretty hard to get 8 people not to press the red button.

This one is hard for me to rate. I will say yes that I do recommend it, but you'll need to get it on sale, and get the dlc expansion on sale as well. This game is best on its first playthrough as you're unlocking all the mods and exploring the world. Plays like a better division with less reliance on cover. putting together a build is pretty fun.

The endgame grind process only got worse with Worldslayer. Even harder to get things with the rolls you want on them, and the gear becomes outdated a little too quick as you progress through the apoc tiers. And there's not much to do at the end, just the few expeditions. You can be pretty confident that they will no longer update this game. Still, had my fun on this game and it is certainly worth it on sale.

Pretty much the best idle game I've played in recent years. It has lots of features that keep expanding as you raincarnate, gives you a reason to keep playing and it truly feels like you are getting somewhere.

Don't let the low-res menus keep you away from this one if you're into idle games, this is one of the better ones.


Quit because of some stupid changes the dev made to the way ascensions are handled. The game is probably still fine, but it felt like a slap in the face to me that I would be forced to progress slower because the dev wanted to clean some stuff up in the back end. Sassy comment on the forums too when I complained about it too. Don't take progress away from players in a game that's about endlessly progressing. Dumb move.

One of the weakest idle games I've ever played. Very quickly devolves to just launching it and letting offline progress calculate and then closing it again. Meta progression grinds to a halt so quickly.

Litterally the only redeeming quality for this game is the automator tree, which stops being relevant after your first couple reincarnations as you will have setup a perfect tree and will no longer need to even play the game.

Just go play clicker heroes 1, it was a better game. If you need a more modern idle game, I've been pleasantly surprised by the depth in Farmer Against Potatoes idle. That game is maintained and loved by its devs, unlike this lol.

Really good speedrunning game. Very satisfying to try and shave time off your high scores. Strongly recommend if you like going as fast as you can.
