EDF6 is simply more EDF.
If you're a fan of the series you already know what the game is about and what you're in for.
It's a nice compliment to EDF5. Playing that first and then seeing the sometimes subtle changes in 6 was a pleasant surprise.
No other series does hordes of enemies to mow down like EDF.

The jump to 3D takes some getting used to. As an early access title, you could be much worse off.
A fantastic game to jump into for hours. The rate of updates is fair as well and always of a good quality. I look forward to playing this for at least another year.

The game crosses so many genres. Tower Defense, RPG, Real time strategy, resource management. Hell, even suspense and horror.
It's a great game to sit down with and kill a few hours in.

Gimmick-verse sucks the fun out of this game. But it's still one of the best MMO's out.

Early Access Review
Before 1.0 I would have easily recommended this game.
Since then the devs have made several out of touch updates to the core of the game that've made it unenjoyable.
The inclusion of paid weapons, the general sweeping nerfs to all weapons to accommodate the poorly thought out weapon upgrade system, the inclusion of the E-DAR's, the ever increasing load times with each update.
There are very few games in which I can say the game only got worse with each new update, but some how Killing Floor 2 managed to do just that.
I absolutely loved Killing Floor 1, 2 was good for awhile, I will not be purchasing or even keeping up to date on Killing Floor 3. I have no confidence in the devs at this point.
