BEAUTIFUL GAME! I'm gripping the edge of my seat for game 2 - I need to know what happens with Amma!

This game is a story game, not an adventure/exploration puzzle game. I bought it on sale, but I would never pay for it at the price point it is at (and frankly, I'm a little disappointed I paid as much as I did for this, anyway).
This game was originally in French, so I can forgive the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ localization for that, but the voice actors did absolutely nothing to make it better. The accents? Horrific. The fact that no one could form an emotion? Worse.
The other negative comments I also agree with - the game railroads you to an unimaginable degree. The last chapter where you could switch between the detectives was at least somewhat interesting, but the rest of the game was so excruciatingly slow, and I've played Danganronpa.
Now for the game animations themselves - there aint no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way that I can pay for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Until Dawn, which is only 10 bucks more, to get better quality than this game. This game was made in 2023, Until Dawn came out in 2015. This game also had so many people working on it, and yet...
I would rather play the Big Fish adventure games than this. Cheaper, and it isn't trying to be good, just playable, and at least that's funny.

When I say I'm legit in love with this developer's style I mean it. I played their f2p game and I am genuinely so sad that they only have two games out. Like it's fantastic gimme 14 of em. Respectfully.

Absolutely adorable! The perfect amount of challenge to make it so enjoyable.
