Harvester is a point & click horror adventure game set in the fifties.Our hero Steve wakes up and is suffering from Amnesia but noone in the town or even steves home believes him also this will trigger the games most well known phrase You always were a kidder steve. You will hear this phrase being said by just about ever other character in the town you will have to speak to everyone completing dialogue trees to discover you're objective get into the lodge it seems everyone is obsessed with this lodge expect for Stephanie Pottsdam to whom steve will be marrying in 2 weeks every other town people are down right crazy for example Mr Pottosdam has a obbsession with meat he constantly ask about you're farther whom runs the local slaughter house but has fallen ill and you're mom refuses for you to see him.

Gameplay.

Typical point & click gameplay you click on items examine them you collect items for various puzzles some items can be used as weapons yes this game has combat and its seriously clunky the first part of the game is talking to townsfolk completing tasks given to you by the lodges sargent at arms he will give you a task to complete once completed you return to him he will give another the game is split into 5 days for you to join the lodge but you dont have a time limit per day you can take you're time talking to others trying items to complete puzzles to progress once you join the lodge you enter the second part of the game which is where the combat comes in and my god is it clunky to down right bad at times since you travel between areas just killing every npc in sight.

Sound and music.

I love atmospheric sound effects and the music is this game is a highlight

Graphics.

The games graphics is fvm with digitized actors cutsences sometimes with this steam version dont always work which sucks since the cutsences are amazing seriously the ones that do work are a treat i dont know of any fixes to sort this out sadly.

Rating If you enjoy point and click games from lucas arts or Sierra games but this one has alot of gore and blood so if you enjoy horror themed games pick this one up the dialogue alone is worth it.Rating 8\10.
The second half in the lodge with poor combat controls prevented me from giving it any higher than 8.
