It's bloody, it's tricky and all in all it's a tonne of fun.

The game combines a ridiculous amount of freedom with the core concept of completing several missions on each level to progress and then sprinkles in the rogue-like elements to keep it fresh. Great to play alone but even better to play with friends and watch the chaos of a well-laid plan go awry.

May not have been everything that people imagined and wanted it to be with the lineage that it has but the game is quite well done on it's own merits. Slightly annoying bugs here and there that can brutalise you on impossible difficulty or ironman mode but on the whole the game is quite enjoyable. It is in this reviewer's opinion also that the Enemy Within dlc is well worth the price of admission and benefits the game greatly.
