The games controls are lacking, there is no reason not to have a baked in back button, or map button, but if you can stomach that singular complaint, Lorelei and the Laser eyes is a solid mystery driven by number puzzles. It's much heavier in escape room style puzzles than deduction style puzzles, but there's enough going on in the setting to keep you invested.

The game never really increases in complexity or difficulty, and is a repetitive walk through 4 dungeons of 3 floors. It's has it's charm but not worth the full price.

Firewatch is a pretty short game, but as long as you expect that going in, you should be fine. It's a walking simulator, it doesn't have an amazing resolution in the end, but it's a story about people being people. If you have a few hours to kill with a short story, I recommend it.
