amazing game, but can get a helluva lot frustrating sometimes. Campaign in itself isn't that long, took me 8.5h to beat it, but you could potentially spend far more if you want to master the game. You can replay the campaign in hardcore mode, or play roguerunner.exe which is kind of an endless mode i guess. soundtrack, visuals and sound effects are all outstanding. story is a little bit boring, but not bad, and i think some of the voice lines and the visuals make up for it.

now, i've seen nearly all of the steam reviews are pointing out massive issues (even the positive ones). you should read them, i personally like the game much more than the others and I can't agree with them on most parts, but that's not really the point, they are the majority after all, go check them out. however I do agree that the first Ghostrunner is a better game overall.

I think this game isn't just a great fps overall, but it introduces people to realistic shooters without taking away the fun of regular shooters, and it also has some unique and rare game mechanics.

Like most realistic shooters, this game lacks minimaps, hitmarkers, enemy outlines, healthbars, etc., but it doesn't have the scale and complexity of games like Squad or Arma III. There isn't much stuff separating you from the action.

Winning a game requires teamwork, there is voice chat, and team chat to plan attacks, but it's not necessary to use them, you just have to see the enemy, your teammates and you have to do your job. If you are an observer, stay near your commander to call in fire support. If you are a gunner, stay behind and support your team by suppressing enemies infront of them. Yes, there is a class system.

The time to kill in this game is very very fast, usually people die to 1-3 shots. Despite not having hit- and killmarkers, the large ammount of blood and the deathrattles of the enemies help you confirming your hits.

Sadly, there are some optimisation issues, i found it annoying that sometimes the smoke from smoke grenades disappear, but these are fixed in weekly-monthly patches. It's still not perfect.

All in all, I think anyone with an experience of shooters can enjoy this game. It also has a coop mode, if someone is interested.
