Although Mordhau has lost its charm in terms of casual gameplay and silliness, the high skill ceiling has kept me engaged for longer than expected. Learning the quirks of the combat system and going positive in Frontline is incredibly rewarding. In the future, I'd hope for a Mordhau 2, where dragging does significantly less damage, (as your weapon is moving slower) and animations are more refined, so as to be true to the original principle of the game: Fights that look like Fights. There's so much good about the game, that I hate to see it die from being unfriendly to new players.
