You just want to collect junk with your friends on an alien planet and in the next moment you have to flee from a creepy guy who wants to steal you, a homicidal butler and a jack-in-the-box with legs only to be eaten by a tree giant shortly after. Would die again.

Don't read anything before playing, just play it. Trust me.

This is Subnautica, but colder, with new biomes and creatures and with many improvement to the already great first game. If you love Subnautica, then you should play Below Zero as well. Also there are alien penguins!

This is the only survival game I liked in the long term. There is a great three-dimensional map to explore where you have to survive on available resources. You can study the many creatures, build a huge base or just drive and explore the area with your sea moth. There are a few bugs from time to time, which have never spoiled the fun of the game for me.

Distance can be a bit frustrating at first, but if you can control it, it's a game that can be fun with friends and the nice community. There are many tracks, some of which are beautifully designed, some have crazy mechanics which are not normally in the game, all thanks to the track designers and modders. The community is friendly and helpful, the cars are fun to drive and sometimes you just feel like drugs. The game definitely deserves a chance when you are a fan of the genre.
