i played contract wars as a kid and love to play this remake of the old classic russian shooter. the maps and modis are still the same but with major graphical overwork :D

after almost 2000+ hours (main acc+smurf accs) of playing this addictive sh*t, i would like to summarize why:

community:
-propably the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up mess of a gaming community to date. (change my mind). I'm lovin' it! :'D

-playerbase: you can meet absolutely every gamer type out there existing. if u play low rank mm on de_dust2 you'll approach mostly hilarious hardcore tryhard noobs, raging turks and russians and of course (sometimes trolling) smurfs and rarely hackers (they beacame actually pretty rare, good job at this point valve!)

-competitive: very well skill/tactics/strategy based.

-stable game: it's recieving often updates and patches, and it runns perfectly, after some settings set up. moreover they even fixxed weaopon balance and bunch of other stuff they messed up in updates a few years ago.


the best parts of the whole game are basically the skill based competitive matchmaking and the legendary messed up playerbase/community. i literally grew up with this sh*t, i'm very grateful for many many hours of f*cked up time. i really enjoyed it.
