cons:
- sbmm is prob the worst out of any multiplayer game
- takes months for new content, most of which are 30$ bundles in the store
- took over 2 years to release forge & custom game browser
- refuse to add community maps frequently to liven up the game, which would take minimal effort and in turn, make players want to continue playing (???)
- no multiplayer map voting/selecting
- some gamemodes just vanish per week, hope you font get attached to one
- the "free" battlepasses have like 3 nice looking things and 17 useless pieces of junk
- most store bundles are like 30$ which makes you wonder where all the money is going for the game, because its not going into updates
- there is very, very minimal amounts of gear you can earn for free
- have fun waiting months for updates that add content that could've been made in 2 weeks
- the graphics also look super dated compared to any other halo game, and most official maps look and play like community maps
- the UI is super buggy, including the friends/social tab
- again, the sbmm is so bad. It will drive you crazy if you perform even slightly above average.
- Almost EVERY new update is ENTIRELY community made, nothing is made by the company itself, and is marketed as "new" content. This is not only unacceptable, but like actually insulting, forge feels like it was a front to just get the community to create content for them, so they wont have to spend the money or time bothering making themselves. It's as if they gave the OK to push out forge because they realized its literally just a money printer for 0 effort.

Seriously, if you haven't played Halo 3, or Reach in a while, go back and play them. Its a little insane that games from over 10 years ago have 10x the amount of content, feel so much better, and even LOOK better, it'll blow your mind.

and don't try and critique the game either, you'll get witch hunted by it's delusional fans
