Unlike 1.6 and GO, Source is a game entirely made for fun. Not many competitive servers. Almost entirely all the current servers are about fun, not competitive game play. I really enjoyed this aspect and made a lot of friends. Also, once in a while there was some competition >:D . Furthermore, there isn't one server without at least one mod or custom map. A lot of community based creations which make the game 10 times better because it's made by one of your own. Not just a developer. Overall, You should purchase this if your in for a laugh or to make friends. But, if you are looking for a good competitive FPS I recommend the next installment of the Counter strike series CS:GO (Counter Strike: Global Offensive)
