Its the greatest PSP game of all time, but its still a PSP game. Get it if you like FFVII or if you want to get some more conext in the remake.

Its pretty much a 1:1 port of the PSP game with updated textures and controls. No longer having to flip through the PSP controls to spam vital slash or costly punch is great. Love the story, as cornball as it may be. The "modernised" graphics, however look REALLY WEIRD. The in-engine cutscenes use the same PSP animations, so its jarring looking at Unreal 4 textured Zack doing the same "Stock Surprise Leanback #2" that I remember from way back when the Crisis Core UMD wasnt a smashed piece of cheap plastic in my PSP case. The voice acting is... better for background characters who dont need to match flaps, and I love that everyone is voiced. They kept the 2007 pre-rendered cutscenes, but there are new HD summon animations, for some reason??
