The voice acting is so hammy you'll be tasting pork for hours after a play session and the game's pacing bounces between 'boring' and 'overwhelming' every so often. But something about the core game loop is just autistic crack- strong enough to make you overlook this game's shortcomings and enjoy the hell out of it.

I personally enjoyed it, but the PC port is very buggy- crashes every other play session, and has some annoying flicker and UI glitches. Even at low settings on a 4090, it's framerate and jitter is still worse than the console version.

This game is everything it promises to be. In fact, I think Introversion is the first studio to truly acheive this feat in a *long* time. Gameplay feels a bit like Dr. Strangelove, Civilization, and Fail Safe all mixed into one. Very well balanced, great strategy game. If you got the humble bundle, double-win, because they also released the source for it to bundle buyers!
