Gamer in heart and Computer Scientist in my soul. In my work I am usually responsible for the development, launch and growth of applications for our platform from its concept to completion. I’ve managed projects and workflow for large and small teams of talented Programmers, Artists and Designers while collaborating with the marketing and business teams to direct the creation of new applications and features based on marketing research. I fully understand coding, art production, sound, QA and design.
I believe applications and software always need to look and behave like games. In this world users keep evolving and they are constantly facing complex situations that are easier to accomplish if they are rewarded with the appropriate feedback. Simple UI that helps users solve complex problems, is how games are created and how all applications and software should be developed. I´m a true believer and supporter of real gamification strategies not just scores, leveling and badges.
