Entirely unique classes give you entirely new experience. Teammates are essential and teamwork is the key. The ultra high skill ceiling makes the game constantly challenging and rewarding.

The feature I love most about this game is the Medic's Ubercharge ability. It gives the Medic, a stereotypically boring push-over type support class, a friggin GOD MODE POWAH along with the teammate(s) he heals. He doesn't headshot, doesn't gib people but he owns matches. This ability gives the support the highest importance and connects the whole team together because if it doesn't take care of the med, it is going to lose horribly. For me, I don't play the med myself but the Uber+the usual healing power makes exploding the other team's only life support pretty addictive.

For the negative side, there're always some cheaters roaming about in public servers and Valve can't do or doesn't do much about it. The unique environment does require some time to understand the flow of things for new players and you do need teammates who knows what they're doing to actually play the game to its potential.
