Good game for the price. Still missing quite a lot of the levels it advertises. The last map that works is a spaceship and the game lists every section of it as a window for some reason. The game has user-made levels but they are just reskins of existing models that you clean during the campaign. You can unlock the medium size gun and its parts but there are no parts to unlock after that. You clean anime girls a few times througout the game and its uncomfortable, with boob physics, giggling and heart beat sounds. At the end it forces you to embrace the girl. That is the worst part of the game and seems like something that should be in optional DLC or a separate genre entirely as it ruins the tone of the game.

Took a long time to load into the game. Starting cutscenes were just pictures in a 3D space. While its loading you can twist the controllers and it moves the image, no idea why they felt that was a good idea. Everything felt a little bit off and lacked the snappy feeling of polished shooters. Game set my height to be a foot shorter than I am (my playspace is set up right) and it made my arms really short so trying to do firefights was nearly impossible at range. When you take damage your screen flashes colors and fades out. I hate this feature in games, very distracting. Reloading was simplified to hitting a button to eject a mag and then putting your gun onto your ammo pouch to instantly reload. Would have preferred a full ammunition system with physics engine. The game was 13 dollars and feels incredibly dated and stiff. I considered busting out a ruler to measure my arm length (something I never had to do for another game) but decided its not worth it. With more polish this could have been good.

This game sits in some weird area between "decent game" and "budget arcade VR slop". Everything about the game lacks oomph and there are some really bad design decisions that I found pretty frustrating. The voice acting sounds bad in this game, particularly the robot or AI at the start. I was surprised by the amount of content initially and workshop support but then realized the missions are paper thin and consist of simply killing uninspired enemy waves like something you would see in a tower defense game, magically spawning troops and defending a generator, etc. This is a problem with a lot of VR games, they have only enough content to be able to advertise something like "X amount of levels" or "full campaign" when its just you shooting the same 3-5 enemy types for 5 to 10 minutes, defending an object, destroying an object or walking somewhere for filler time. The game lacked the weight and cinematic impact you might expect from more recent VR games. It felt like a mobile game in terms of depth, realism and design.

The biggest annoyance I found was that there was no co-op option for the campaign, which made me waste 5 or so minutes trying to figure it out. You would think you would choose co-op and then start the campaign, or load up a lobby with the first mission, but its strange. You have to start the campaign in single player, check a box and then you show up on the server list for people to join. Simple enough, but every time I finished a mission it would seemingly kick everyone out of the game and I would have to start up the next mission hoping they would rejoin. I also got stuck inside the mech on one of the levels, which had terrible control and was less effective than simply using my gun. I tried every button on the controller and managed to finish the mission while in it only to have the "you win" screen blocked by the mech.

As someone who has played a lot of VR games, this one feels like one that would have come out in 2017 when expectations were much lower. It has a lot of features like unlockables and progression, user maps and drop-in co-op which I like but the core package itself just feels dated and unimpactful. Not to mention shooting enemies felt as difficult as popping bubble wrap. No corpses, no neat blood effects, no sense of danger, just your typical bug enemies, flying enemies and the like you see in virtually every generic wave-based shooter.
