I played this game front to back with my girlfriend and neither one of us can really put into words what makes Omori so good. It's just fantastic.

Play it.

I pre-ordered this game because I played it a lot as a kid. Nowadays I can find the flaws in it, but it's better than I remember.

I totally recommend this; just know it still has the (minor) jank from the original.

Also Mr. Krabs and Mermaid Man still don't have their original VAs.

honest thoughts on re3
it's really good but i should not have paid $60 for a game that lasts 6 hours max and plays almost exactly the same as re2 (despite how much i love it)
long story short, this is a great remaster, but wait for a sale

This is definitely the fighting game Dragon Ball deserved. Plays astounding, feels astounding and looks astounding.

If you like Marvel vs Capcom or ArcSystem games, this is an easy buy.

I do have one gripe, however. There are no private lobbies or a friend system, so the only way to play with your friends is to join a lobby and create a Ring Match with a password. Early in the game's release, this is a problem, because all of the North American, South American, and Asian servers were full for the majority of the day. The only servers I was able to join (that weren't auto-joins) to play with my friend were U.K. servers.

Give the game a friend system, make servers larger/make private servers, and this game becomes better than MvC3 in my opinion.

Pick it up only if it's below $30. It's fun, but it's not worth over $35, sadly.

I had to think a little bit about this because I really like Berserk, and I really like hack and slash games, so I thought this would be great for $36. Luckily, it is a fun game, but I'll probably refund it and pick it up some other time when it's cheaper than it is on sale now.

If you enjoy Berserk and Dynasty Warriors, you may like the game. Just don't spend too much money on it.

They also spared us from the "CLANG" sound.

41 minutes in and I still don't know what's happening. My kids are screaming, one of them is possibly dead, and I have no idea where to go.

Oh, and Shelter 2 is pretty good.

tl;dr
the dlc costs more than the game itself but the dlc on sale is worth it

Full Review

Payday 2 is actually one of my favorite games. I love playing it, my friends and I play it together all the time, and it has plenty of people to help you through it. But the way the DLC is set up, I wouldn't consider buying it if I hadn't already had it. And it's the first time I've ever wanted Steam to include the fabled "Mixed" option in review.

Out of the 96 guns in payday 2, 51 of them are dlc, 31 of them are base game, and the other 9 are community weapons. Out of 31 heists, 12 are base game, 11 are community heists, and 8 are dlc. Out of the 12 characters, 5 are base game, 1 is community made, and the other 7 are dlc. Doing the math, the dlc to base ratio would be 66/46. Dlc to community+base would be 66/69. So not paying for the game gets you a little bit more content then the dlc, regardless of how much there is. But with the amount of cash you have to flesh out to get a third of the game is unforgiveable ($124.) I'm not even counting the melee weapons, which would total up the dlc to base ratio by 117/81. You may not have to buy the dlc, but the way the game is put together it feels like it.

I might as well give credit where's it's due, though, seeing as not everyone needs a dlc heist for the group to play it. However, everything else in the game requires COLD, HARD, CASH.
