You may have heard of this game in passing from those lesser-beings, those console owning peasants. They talk about how "difficult" and "hard" this game is, all the while you scoff at their remarks, knowing full well that you are part of the PC gaming master race; difficult games are your forte.

Well, prepare to eat crow as Dark Souls has finally regaled us with its presence on the PC. The subtitle itself, Prepare to Die Edition, is no idle boasting but a cold, hard fact. You will die often, and a lot. Buy this game and get the DSfix mod and you too will enjoy a punishing but rewarding ride.

Think of it as a video game version of Battlestar Galactica and Firefly and you get an idea of how great this game is. Frantically trying to fight off pirates, slavers, and the rebel fleet, all the while keeping your ship running on a budget that'll make even EbenezerScrooge laugh. Your decisions can make or break your fate; should I shut off my oxygen and slowly suffocate so I can reroute all my power to my weapons, all the while fighting off aliens boarding my ship? Very tense game indeed.

A highly underrated CRPG. Great storyline, interesting characters, and great ambience. Think Deus Ex with Vampires and you'll get a good idea of how it works. With the community patch it's an incredible game. Highly recommend it.

Can be overwhelming in the beginning but falls into place once it "clicks" with you. Its deep, complex and living out my fantasy of being a feudal Japanese warlord comes no prettier or better than this.

The game that single handedly started the indie genre. Played it many years ago and loved it. A good Metroidvania sidescroller game with a surprising good story. I highly recommend it.
