One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Not quite the best, but probably the best of the decade.

People are crying about the whole spyware/EULA thing. Turns out, they're really bad at reading comprehension, and they've been waiting for a good reason to hate on Gearbox.

However, if you have no reason to hate Gearbox yet, trust me. "Real fans" will find a way to make it happen. :)

In all seriousness, ♥♥♥♥ Randy Bitchford.

Since Sony re-allowed everyone to play, I'm changing my evaluation back. Thanks, Sony. :)

Let me tell you a story.

Once upon a time, there was a boy who wanted to find some JRPG to play.
That boy stumbled upon Trails of Cold Steel III. And they looked at a trailer, at some out-of-context gameplay, to figure out if that game was worth playing. And apparently, it was. But then, the boy thought to himself. "Should I really start from the 3rd entry?"
After buying and playing through Cold Steel I and II, the boy finally bought Cold Steel III... and then, the boy met a bunch of people that were apparently very important and that the game expected him to know.

Confused, flabbergasted, discombobulated even, the boy searched online what was the meaning of this. "Who were those people?" And as it turned out, Trails of Cold Steel III isn't actually the 3rd entry to Legend of Heroes. It's the 8th.
"Curses!", the boy thought. "I may have played Cold Steel I and II, but I also played myself!"

And so, for a while, the story stopped there.
Until the boy came back, with renewed confidence. "I'll go through those five games if I have to! I must do it, just so I can date Sara Valestein a third time!"

Jokes aside, the game is great. It might feel slow at first, but instead of powering through it for the sake of playing later games, you should lay back and enjoy the game for what it is.

A great follow-up to 20XX but it's still in the making.

I don't care about the entire NFT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you gotta blame someone about that, at least blame the right people, which is whoever owns Hellraiser's rights.

However, it's been almost two months and we have yet to hear the killer's voicelines that were on the PTB.
That's simply unacceptable, regardless of the reason.
