Titanfall 3 is an amazing game and put Apex Legends to shame. I've been playing this for endless hours and it's absolutely my favorite for sure.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to take my pills today. My head hurts and I've been playing too much Northstar.tf and forgot them harder than Respawn forgot this game existed.

This was my first dip into the Monster Hunter games, and even after falling in love and playing older and newer titles, it's still by far the best one. It's the most polished entry, and provides a good challenge for anyone at any skill level. There's only a couple major issues I have with it, but it's so close to a masterpiece that it's certainly worth looking past. The quest cutscenes are antithetical to the multiplayer experience, the controls are unintuitive and the tutorials don't explain very well how things work and leaves you hanging if you do things right without realizing, so it takes some research, experimentation, and a lot of input remapping (or just using a controller for some folks) to get to a point where you can be comfortable. There's a bit of friction with the smithy cutscenes and forge/upgrade UI, and I would just love if they took the new approach in Rise and stuck it in there. Overall though, this feels more like monster hunting than any of the other games with the scoutflies mechanic, even if it feels a little stilted sometimes. It's an incredible experience, and I hope Capcom continues building upon it in the future.

Still to this day one of the best free to play games that you'll ever experience. I'm at Mastery Rank 13 and I've farmed for countless hours, made tons of trades, led new players, and got led by better players, and I still don't know half of this game. It's a lifetime's worth of content, or at least as much space ninjas as you're willing to put up with.

For a little background, I'm very confused by MMOs. Whenever I see systems within systems where seeking one thing leads into hundreds of small, seemingly unrelated frays, I don't understand it and I find it frustrating. Often times there's no tutorial either, or if it does, they tend to assume you're aware of a lot of mechanics that weren't so obvious as the developers thought.
To some degree, this game is no different. I bought this game years ago and enjoyed the Red War campaign, and I didn't understand the rest of it, and the loot system seemed so watered down compared to a game like Borderlands, so I thought I did everything that was interesting enough to do. I was dead wrong.
There's so much to do in this game and so little time to do it all, especially if you're a newer player. All I can say is, bring in a friend that's been at this franchise a while and have them show you the ropes. It's not as complicated as other games I've tried, and in the end, I guarantee you will find this game to be a lot more addicting than it first appears.
......Warframe is still better though.

A true classic. It may not seem as exciting as some of its successors, but it does set up the story to make the critically-acclaimed story in Borderlands 2 even better, as it gives you a more personal relationship with each character. The weapon system is much more balanced, so in the end game you can keep on getting better weapons instead of stagnating, but the skill trees are much less refined, and as a result, Roland and Mordecai configured with specific skills are much more powerful than anything else, so there aren't matchups quite like in the later games. All in all, definitely a game I would recommend putting some time in.

This game truly is the grandfather of team-based shooters. Whether you want to play stock everything, trade items on the market and make a little money, or go nuts with mods on a community server, there's something for you to do. Not to mention, the weapons you can unlock just from playing can change the entire meta of the classes, virtually giving you infinitely many subclasses to work with, and therefore, infinitely many ways to strategize and play. And you can't really complain about anything either, considering it's FREE. While that does invite a lot of *shudders* screechers and trolls into the game, you can mute players, and there's always another server.

I can't help but be obsessed with this game. My best friend and I played Borderlands back in 2009 and were waiting right up to the release date of this game, and it did not fail to deliver. The changes to the UI are beautiful and modern, and the loot system is, while in some ways not as good as the original, in other ways are even better. The scaling of the stats in the whole system went out of control, but it also added a level of difficulty that just peaked my interest more. Even to this very day, out of any game I could ever play, I choose time and time again to play this one because its replay value is so amazing. You may have 6 vault hunters to choose from after DLC, but the weapons combined with the skill trees create so many variations that it's impossible to get bored of this game. There's always a couple bugs, like the menu not working/going nuts sometimes, and some of the game doesn't work correctly when you're also running Photoshop, but I can't give bad details about this game, I can only give less-than-perfect ones. This game has, is, and might always be my favorite PC game of all time.

I can barely get into it and I'm yawning. This game is horrendously bland. Just because you have RPG Maker doesn't mean you can make RPGs.

When this game originally came out, it was a pretty poor console port that I had a lot of issues with on my laptop that had pretty powerful specs at the time, and the DRM was frustrating as the Ubisoft launcher didn't want to approve it as a purchased title. I don't want that to get lost as I edit this review, but since I've played it a good bit over the years as things got ironed out and computers got powerful enough to ignore poor optimization, I just wanted to talk a bit about the game itself. Far Cry 3 was a defining point in not just the series, but a lot of games spanning multiple genres, particularly in the AAA space, and it became clear to Ubisoft that this was a starting point for future games. No more true than in Far Cry 4, more than any other Far Cry I've seen so far, to the degree where it almost feels like a direct copy. The storyline follows tropes and mechanics almost beat for beat, but it lacks the heavy theming that made the previous game so great in trade for vibrant particle effects. It will probably be a while before I review any other future Far Cry game, but they're progressively Far Cry 3 riffs, and this is most certainly the closest one. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's fun to grab a friend and ride through this game.

It's an addicting game, but extremely hard to say the least. I mean, I started out with the regular difficulty, but ended up starting a new game in angel mode and I'm still dying 20,30,40 times to move to the next checkpoint. Definitely Megaman style alright. Not that there's an issue with that, but it's not necessarily my coup de foudre.
The only flaw in my opinion is this: despite what the description said, there ARE pixel perfect jumps. A lot of the time, I'm dying a lot just to get past one certain jump because you have to time your flutter just right.
All in all, good, but a little over the top.
