There's not much to say about PUBG. 100 people, and you need to make sure you are the last man standing. This game is brutal, but has so many options to be played... sneaky, passive, aggressive etc. Learn the map, acquire the skills to use each weapon in the best situations, and go get that Chicken Dinner!

Is PUBG flawless? No, probably not. But it's just a lot of fun. With new maps coming up and the ever game changing tweaks, this game will stay on my radar for at least another year.

I haven't really played the 2016 edition, so I can not make that comparison. But in general I am enjoying FM a lot. Some things are unrealistic (30 shots on-goal and still lose, for example), but that's also part of the rollercoaster ride that is FM. This game is not flawless, but it sure is fun!

Broforce is an pretty good action platformer. The fun and the chaos is also a part of the difficulty, because all those bullets and explosions are sure to get you killed. Singleplayer it's pretty okay, but in my book Broforce really shines when you play it with your buddies. Unlocking awesome movie super heroes adds to the fun!

I've had some very short nights since this game out. And yes, I blame this game. It's pure management where you decide what you want and the variety in options is huge. If you loved Simcity 2000 back in the days, you will love Cities: Skylines too. It beats Simcity (2014) with ease, no problem.

I'm a big fan of the tv series and I'm trying to push myself to read the books, but to play this game I needed no carrot hanging in front of me. Telltale Games always got my interest and with Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series they surely delivered. The game starts at a fan favorite moment in the Game of Thrones timeline and is all about House Forrester and their suffering under the Boltons (yes, of course Ramsay is in the game!). This Game of Thrones story sure got some shock value and is a must play for Game of Thrones and adventure fans. Keep in mind, it's more like an interactive novel and it's definately not a puzzle adventure.

I've been postponing to play The Banner Saga for a long time. When the game was released on iOS, I suddenly realized I didn't even start my pc game yet. That evening I sat down and played for several hours straight. Now, 18 hours along the way I just finished The Banner Saga on Normal difficulty for the very first time,

I'm not the type of gamer to play a game again in order to get all achievements, but I did check which ones I earned and which ones I did not get. As it turns out, there are many story branches based on the choices one makes. Characters can survive through out to story or die during battle.

I love the background of this game. Vikings are cool. By adding some kind of Super Viking (Varl) the studio has created a big divirsity in the characters one can use during the game. I will not spoil anything, but don't get too attached to your characters... they might die.

The combat is tactical. Take your time is make a move, look at the movement range of your enemies and make sure you double check for example the reach of your archers. It happened to me more than once that my archers was one block short to reach its target... That's just waste of a turn and might result in you losing the battle. During a battle characters can die. But you can't know in advance whether they are just "passed out" or they will be actually removed from the game and story.

Between the turn based battles there are lots of conversations in which you get to make choices. It's not always clear what the results of your choices will be. The most confusing thing in The Banner Saga is that you can be travelling without food and still thieves can steal food or Varls can drink beer because we passed some religious statue.

Overall The Banner Saga is one of the highlights in my recent gaming years. It left me wanting for more. I've got the same feeling I got when I played The Walking Dead by Telltale for the very first time. Game studio Stoic has developed a very nice and enjoyable game with a touching story. No tears, but in the end you can't help but wonder whether the ending is just the ending of the story or the result of your actions.

I've decided I'm not going to find out. This is it. My story is over and now I'm waiting for the second chapter.

Towerfall Ascension is most probably one of the best local multiplayer games ever created. It's a game that makes and breaks friendships.

The movement speed is insane once you become aware of the things that are possible. Catching arrows is one skill, but catching multiple arrows will dodging through the air, ending with sticking to a wall, jumping back into the open area to shoot your opponent with of the arrows you just caught, is simply brilliant.

Sure it will take you time to truly master this game, which is best played with an USB controller by the way, but the road to perfection is simply brilliant.

Just like other competitive arena games - take Super Smash Bros as an example - there are several extra power-ups available. These will spawn at the beginning of each match. Some power ups give you special arrows (laser arrows or bomb arrows for example), others will have an environmental influence (slow motion or rising lava). These power-ups are always a great risk to get, because you have to engage, but the reward can be big of course.

On the other hand there's the tactic to avoid shooting. You start with three or two arrows and when your opponent shoot and miss, you can grab that arrow. But of course, once again, these missed arrows can also be used as a trick. Those are just two examples of how arena control can work in your advantage of disadvantage.

Really, Towerfall Ascension is brilliant and all you need is this baby, four USB controllers, three friends and some drinks for an AWESOME video game evening!

I had high hopes for this puzzle adventure game, but Munin just didn't grab me. It's puzzles are challenging for sure and the mechanic of turning parts of the world is a good thought, but overall I just couldn't get into this game. If felt a bit dull. Perhaps this concept is better on other platforms, like a tablet.
