I've never really reviewed a product before. I've been a fan of the Ace Combat series since the 2nd one on the PSX and have played through every one of them since, including that mediocre Assault Horizon.

The story is cringy anime-esque with cringy anime-esque dialogue, and that's Ace Combat for you, which is great.

Performance-wise, I have been running smooth so far, no issues or hiccups.

Graphically, this game is beautiful and just awe-struck. I love seeing my F/A-18 Hornet soaring through the clouds just to rip an advanced drone fighter out of the skies.

I have to say that, the people giving this game a negative review because of the HOTAS support, first off,
1) BANDAI Namco is aware of the issue and are working on it
2) Ace Combat never really had HOTAS support since Ace Combat 6, we've always been flying with controller

It's a shame that people dumb down this game just because of HOTAS, SPECIFICALLY because of HOTAS. You can't be giving a thumbs down on a game just because of that.
