A beautiful game, made and played with love. I had a fantastic time playing Dreamwatcher and I haven't even finished it yet. Visually pretty, tight controls, and an interesting world to explore.

Videogames are a budding artistic medium. They are the perfect vessel through which creators can share their their artistic vision. This, however, is not what makes them special. Being an interactive medium, videogames are unique in their ability to, not only craft a world, but create carefully curated experiences. In so doing, the designer only creates part of the experience. The videogame is a medium that empowers its consumer, and demads that they take some degree of responsibility for their experience. This collaborative effort between artist and consumer is at the heart of what makes gaming a truly wonderful and unique artistic medium.

this game should not be allowed to exist.

"Mostly negative reviews" does not exactly capture the majestic qualities of the game. Needs another side quest, other than that, superb. I like the quest where you get the freeze ray and also the one where you break the color palette.
