RAW, VISCERAL, DISGUSTING
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game, and I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing about it. From the moment the menu screen popped up, I was hooked, and that feeling only grew stronger until the credits rolled. Everything in this game feels deliberately crafted to make you uncomfortable in the best way possible. From the story to the gameplay, the visuals, and the audio, it’s all so raw, grotesque, and unsettling, but it works beautifully.

The story throws you straight into its world with zero handholding, leaving you to piece it all together yourself. I loved how it keeps details intentionally vague, leaving so much room for interpretation.. What’s even better is how personal the story feels, your interpretation can be entirely different from someone else’s, and both could still be valid. I genuinely hope the devs never come out and confirm a “true” ending.

The gameplay is equally raw and brutal. Right from the start, it’s all on you to figure out, there’s no tutorial popping up to tell you how to move, attack, or survive. Every interaction feels tactile and grounded. I loved how all the items are physical objects you can pick up and examine; I caught myself just spinning them around and appreciating the insane level of detail.

Visually, this game is a masterpiece of grotesquery. The blend of art styles is chaotic in the best way, somehow managing to feel cohesive while constantly catching you off guard. Everything looks disgusting, yet you can’t stop staring at it because it fits the tone so perfectly.

The audio is just as uncomfortable as the rest of it. The saving sound is just awful, in the best possible way, and combat is accompanied by harsh, grating noises that make everything feel more chaotic and tense. Nothing about the sound design is supposed to comfort you, and it’s perfect for what the game is going for.

This game is a grim and visceral from start to finish, and I loved every second of it. It’s one of those rare experiences that sticks with you long after it’s over.
