Smash bug.

May change my opinion later, but so far, I think the game is solid and can be a fun time. It's fairly simple as far as game mechanics go, but it really nails feeling like a dwarf in Tolkien's universe. You sing songs while mining, you fight hordes of goblins and "rebuild" Moria. I think the game could maybe one day be a great game if devs continue work on it.

If you like LotR, dwarves and playing games with your friends, this game is a lot of fun and worth your time for its price point.

I go to the login screen for the game, i put in my username and password; everything works fine. When I get into game, it asks for it again. (I have no idea why on earth they designed their game like this but I cannot see into the minds of these peerless developers) This time, it refuses to take my login, I have reset my password twice, this doesn't fix the problem.

I figure the gameplay is good enough since people to play it, as well as it being mostly positive, and thats fine with me, however this one simple bug has prevented me from playing it (again, no idea why on earth I have to log in twice, the problem would not exist if I only had to log in once) and honestly made me angry enough to not even want to try it, so I'll just stick to Dota, or hell, even play League. At least I can log into, and play that game.

Now, ive owned this game nearly since its release, and i can say that for a few other early access games, like rust, Life is Feudal, and space engineers, both which the game developers haven't completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ their game over. I use to be able to run this game with 30 frames no problem, as time went on my fps lowered more and more, eventually as of today, the game makes a few sounds on the little startup box and crashes, thats how bad this game has gotten, they havent barely optimized this game at all, and they even release paid dlc, before the game is even released, now i can somewhat understand that if their running low on money, but gee maybe thats because the game is so poorly optimized that no one is buying it because of terrible reviews. Fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and maybe you might get your recent reviews mostly positive and keep your overall that way too.

I would like to start by saying i get ok fps in this game and i dont even have the best computer, i get a solid 20-30 fps with medium settings, which is better than i thought it would be. but sadly thats all the good i can say about this game, now i do realize that there are bugs going around and the game was just released on directx 11, but i simply cannot play the game without it crashing every 5-7 minutes. i know that the devs are trying to get this new version optimized for as many people as possible, of which i sadly will not be one of those people for awhile, my gpu is completely unheard of to most people i mention it to. but im patient, i can wait for this game to be optimized for me, and im not saying this is a bad game, but i simply cant say much positive until the bugs are fixed, and i know the devs are working hard to get this game working better for everyone, and i thank them for that, they showed some dedication by rolling out patches immediately after people started complaining, hopefully the game starts working better for me and i can get some solid play time in this game and give it a real review. but for now ill give it the benifit of the doubt because of the devs dedication to the game. oh yeah and i crash when i open the map, pls fix, thank you.

That was my review a log time ago, maybe mid 2015, I cant say my fps has improved a whole bunch, but i can now accually play the game, and i can honestly say that I love it, but before I begin I must say that this game isnt rust, its not ark, its not even dayz or miscreated. I can honestly say that this is the hardest survival game on the market, it takes an immense amount of time to get anything done in this game, think you can do it alone, you wont get past being a hermit in the woods living in a clay shack. This game requires cooperation, not just because its a pain to collect some resources, but because you simply cannot become a jack of all trades, there are exceptions with some servers, skill gain and skill points are increased, but any popular server probably wont have more than a 10x rate. But please dont let this discourage you, (unless your a wimp when it comes to survival games, go play unturned on easy) the game usually has a wonderful community and is fun to play with friends. I say this all from experience though my play time has been only for 2 playthroughs yes thats right over 300 hours, two playthroughs, and other friends with close to 700 hours. I wouldnt say the price is 100% worth it, unless your really pumped to play it, i bought it for near full price and dont regret it, but others might, do more research beyond my review, because if i told you all i knew about the game, my review would be a link to a near 10,000 word essay persuading you to buy a game. Its good, buy it. Just look at me, ive played 3 days of the game and it has only been out for about a week, trust me you wont loose sleep or stop eating to play more of this game...
