I had an absolute blast playing this game. From the combat, unique playstyles every character offers, OST, boss fights, writing and it's charm. Playing DMC5 made me want to check out the previous entries in the franchise and give them a shot, with a few exceptions. Highly recommend this game if you want to play one of the most hype hack and slash games out there. Also Vergil is goated.

One of the best if not the best Metroidvania ever made and one of the best games ever made. Super fun and unique gameplay mechanics that isn't present in many other games of it's genre. The Souls-like elements while difficult, is very challenging and rewarding once you figure out the optimal strategy on dealing with enemies and bosses, which helps provides a great gameplay loop in it's own right. The world of Hallownest is quite unique and appealing with it's grim, yet also charming atmosphere and world. Without spoiling anything, many aspects of this game brings a tear to my eye on how much I love it. I don't believe in giving games 10/10 since no game is perfect, but it's quite near that for me. Highly recommend even if you're not a fan of Metroidvania's or Souls-like. 9.5/10

I can see why many people call this game a masterpiece from the gameplay, OST, visuals, voice acting, dialogue, story and the characters. Really had fun with this. Highly recommend even if you haven't played the previous games or don't know anything about Metal Gear.

Please support this game where the devs actually care about releasing a quality product and there community compared to Nintendo who can only release half-baked, unfinished and glitchy Pokemon games that they overprice every release.

I became interested in the game when I saw fanart of Sybil and told myself "She's a cutie". Once I actually bought the game and played it, I didn't expect the controls, movement and gameplay to be so spectacular. Movement is so smooth and free-form in this game and the controls are so fine tuned to the point where I never got a mis-input due to input delay or the game eating my inputs. Even the environments, atmosphere, the way the story is mostly up to the players interpretations and especially Sybil herself are very interesting and I really hope the dev does more with this universe they came up because it's so intriguing to me. Highly recommend this game for anyone that want to play a super solid, fine tuned 3D platformer and Metroidvania. Also people like to meme that Sybil shouldn't wear pants so that her "assets" are always in view. Well, I won't spoil anything so enjoy the game and discover what you can find. :D

This was short, but was surprisingly good and I had alot of fun with the dialogue and characters. My only criticism is the lack of an actual ending showing what the main characters were up to (mainly Ratibor and Veinte since they don't even explain what they do afterwards. Assume they became a couple or close friends with benefits.) Hope the update adds what I'm asking for to solve those small complaints.

As Frustrating as this game is with dying and losing your hard earned souls, its tons of fun to play and I love it.
