Early Access Review
Very early initial thoughts from a long time OSRS player, 37 minutes into the tutorial - world looks cool, the skills we have so far seem fun, UI is very nice. Not yet tried building and very keen to see how the skills interact with each other. But so far so good - I am much excite!

I've got almost 400 hours at time of reviewing. 200 of those in 1.0. I still have no idea what I'm doing. However the factory must grow, and adding more lights makes things pretty.

Welp, it's still not perfect but it's a lot of fun!

Really glad the team stuck with this game, because 2.0 and phantom Liberty are an absolute blast. Yes there are still a few bugs here and there, and certain promised features (branching story, car customisation etc. etc.) are still missing - but the revamped skills system, itemisation, all the bug fixes, cops etc. finally put this game in a playable (and very much so) state.

The story CDPR wanted to tell here can finally shine through and 30 hours in to this 2.0 play through I am fully immersed. Great characters, great story lines, a wonderful world to get lost in and Phantom Liberty just takes it to another level.

I have all my fingers and toes crossed for the Witcher 4 and whatever is next for Cyberpunk - but I, as I imagine the world, will be wary listening to that marketing team next time. CDPR have a lot of reputation to rebuild, but 2.0 is a great move towards that - they really have done CP justice here.

Waited until first play through complete to write this review - but my god what a game!

I'm a big CRPG/RPG/D&D fan but I complete very few of them due to distraction of new games and spicy brain. With BG3 I was hooked for a solid 24 days and I cannot wait to start my second play through already.

The writing was incredible from beginning to end. I laughed, I cried, and enthusiastically clapped at my screen.
Every single character felt unique, interesting and kept me immersed throughout.

The world building and locations were 10/10 - each act and location felt unique, yet tied in nicely and never felt out of place.

Every story line overlapped with others and led to the completion of goals in a variety of ways. And if you can imagine it, you can do it.
I fully 'barded' at one point, performing a tune on my lute to distract guards while a prison break happened behind - followed by pushing the jailor off the edge of a bridge.

Every second of this game had me fixed to the screen.

Yes there are some bugs in act 2 and especially 3 - but I found nothing game breaking, and based on Larian's past, imagine these will be fixed fairly rapidly anyway.

The one negative I can tell you is that the game ends because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I wanted it to continue forever.

Thank you Larian for what I believe is the greatest game I have every experienced.

On to the next playthrough!!

I am really loving this!

As a huge Marvel fan, the humour and story is not on par with the films, but it does a pretty damn good job. The charters included are well VA'd and written, keeping true to what is portrayed in the comics and films.

As other reviews have said there is a "left field" relationship system and exploration system when not in missions - personally I really like both of these elements, but possibly not for everyone.

The actual meat of this game is the missions - which are very x-com meets card game. It's done really well and is a lot of fun. Enough variation in the cards / moves to keep it interesting, really great visuals for the moves and a lot of underlying systems that enhance all of this and continue to keep the game-play interesting.

Overall this has been a hidden gem for me - not expecting much from it but deciding to give it a go after an impulse purchase. I think this might be my favourite game of the year.

The first game in years that I have played for 8 hours straight on day one. I'm genuinely excited to play more, and more after that , maybe evn more after that!!!

This is the RPG we deserve , more importantly the RPG we need.

This game is, in short, a truck simulator. However, the way it presents itself, along with a progression system which allows you to build up from a single man with a sh*tty garage, to a corperate giant with a multimilion pound trucking company has a certain additive appeal.
