I don't understand what they're doing with this game...

First you've got the awesome Cyberpunk effect. Simply put, they seem to have released the game way earlier than they were ready. You are promised tiers, boosts, etc. in the season pass after paying $160 AUD, but then find out you have to wait weeks for the pass to come out. (Still not out when posting this). There a numerous bugs even just in the main menu and an absolute lack of base game features which they got right 10 years ago.

My second major complaint is the lack of creativity put into this game, ESPECIALLY the singleplayer missions. It seemed like every big event in the campaign was just a small side mission and I constantly felt like there was something missing. Not to mention having to restart the mission completely when getting a bug that stopped me from completing it, or finding some ball bustin way around it which just ruined the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, there were some good missions in there and the amount of missions was also pleasing, but I would much rather the developers put more thought into a smaller amount of missions rather than pumping out a bunch of mediocre and boring ones. Too many times in this campaign did I feel like something much bigger was going to happen but I was let down almost every time.

The multiplayer is your average CoD multiplayer which is fine, the terrible and broken menus aside. I can say that I really enjoy the ability to tune my weapons and I'm happy with the weapons provided, but could definitely use more pistol options and variants. The very small map option sucks but yet again... another feature we have to wait for the season pass to drop, however I enjoy the layouts of the maps provided.

As silly as it is, I think there will be some major improvements ((hopefully)) once the battle pass drops, but from what I've seen from the info provided there will also be a lot of new things and changes which are only going to disappoint me more. It's sad to see the Modern Warfare franchise turn out like this but hopefully they can get it right in MW3, or even better, once they've done some big updates. Or maybe they will ruin it more, we will see.
