I must admit, this game is quite dated from a modern perspective. The combat is boring and tedious, the graphics aren't great and the amount of times you have to go back and forth between two areas is quite jarring. But the characters and story make up for it. It's a great introduction to the Witcher series and I'd truly recommend it if you're looking to get into the lore. Set the difficulty to the easy and immerse yourself in Vizima, as the wonderful soundtrack plays in the background. Watching a recap on YouTube doesn't compare to actually playing the thing!
