Enjoyed the original, was a good time with friends TKing and what not. The devs nailed the transition to third person for the most part, barring some nitpicky things. Hope they keep content rolling in with new enemy types and strategems, as I feel the sample collection grind after LV.20 (around 30 hrs gameplay) seems quite bland. Also kudos to the point where we can earn the premium currency in-game, albeit slowly.

Combat flows very smooth and all the character's kits are unique. Story is meh, boss fights are fun. Haven't had a single crash or bug so far (got lucky ig), however performance in the hub town needs improving as there's no DLSS/ upscaling options. Will update this review on campaign completion and diving into the endgame.

Why is this so addictive? idk but for the price you can't go wrong by giving it a shot

Servers were bad, but its mostly fixed now. Game is fun and has great art direction imo. Its got quite a bit of content already if you want to play all the classes and unique weapon mechs but not much in the way of core gameplay content and progression systems as it just launched into Early Access. The devs seem responsive with a good roadmap and it's going F2P on full launch. So if you don't want to buy a founder's pack, you can wait to check it out in a few months.

Good fun, not too complex and the meta-progression between runs keeps things interesting.

A good recreation of Hogwarts and unexpectedly fun combat. Also invest in cabbages.

First impressions: Some optimisation and balance aside, the gameplay and environment are phenomenal. Will update this review as I put more hours in.

Launch update: Lacking content and optimisation, unless you have a high-end rig I would wait for some more patches and get it at a discount.

1 Year Anniversary Update: With the new talent trees, optimization and discounts, the game is now in a good place. Recommended especially as a co-op lobby game with friends. Could use more mission variety and "fixed seed" endgame systems (ala weekly Deep Dives from DRG) but the overall progression has been improved and feels leagues better than launch.
