Finally, a worthy successor to SimCity! A perfect blend of grid-based management sim and 21st century feature freedom. Everything that feels missing has quickly been added in by mods. Highly recommended.

A very impressive tech demo for Minecraft 2 creative mode, but not much of an actual game with goals just yet. Nothing you do or find or create has any meaning at this point, so it gets boring fast. Camera is awful, controls are console-y, and draw distance is way too limited. I'll try it again when it's done, but I don't have much hope for a fun survival game with a purpose.

Didn't I play this on iPhone? Yes, yes I did, about 3 years ago.

No explainations of anything. So a management game without any info on your metrics. Cool.

I'm Drunk.

I don't review many games, but I came here after a fit of almost punching my computer screen. This game has so much potential. Stunning mood, artwork, and gameplay concepts. But it is HARD. I don't mind difficulty, I think only difficulty can bring a truly rewarding play experience. But this is randomly unfair, keyboard-throwingly hard. You can work for hours to build up a killer party grinding easy missions and buying tons of gear, only to get to a very small, easy fight where one mob crits your whole party and they all go insane and die. You lose everything you worked for in an instant because of a fluke of bad luck. You can put a hero out of comission for a week to cure one mental illness, only to pick up 5 more illnesses every single week on every character that participates. You upgrade your town to make it better, but what's the point? Nothing seems to make it any easier or less grindy.

Or, there are a couple interface hiccups, like what just happened to me: Find an object which you can use a shovel on, and the interface LOOKS like you're going to use the shovel, but no, it's slightly greyed out and you messed up. Your party digs through the thing barehanded, and (yes) goes insane and dies.

I want to like this game, I kickstarted it many months ago and I've really been looking forward to it. But the sheer sense of constantly losing an impossible battle is really too much for me. I want to have at least some kind of fun playing videogames. This is just this overwhelming downhill slide of frustration and failure. I feel like I'm one of the poor bastards inside the game, trapped and doomed. I'm really sad that I'm not enjoying it at all.
