Due to the update of recommended regional pricing in 2022 and 2023, Poland became one of the most expensive regions in the world. The price adjustments coincided with the outbreak of war beyond our eastern border and post-COVID-19 inflation. As a result of those unfortunate events, the purchasing value of the Polish zloty almost reached a historic low. Luckily, the złoty exchange rate stabilized quite quickly and gained a fairly high value in relation to the euro and the US dollar.

Despite assuring its users that changes will be introduced regularly, Steam has not yet updated the currency converter. Currently, games that are priced in Poland based on Valve's price list are among the most expensive in the world.
