The DLC has some very exciting items and characters and play around with, but the alternative floor system just feels way too unbalanced right now.

A lot of the items that could change your tide in a run and give you hope now either have consequences or are not as good as before, which is fine and still is fine if you play through the normal levels.

But if you want to experience the DLC and get your completion marks, you end up with fights that are just unfair without overpowered item combinations which aren't really that overpowered anymore.

The alternative rooms were originally balanced as a risk and reward system, where you could get more items in exchange at fighting more challenging bosses, but the dlc removes the ability to get two items per room, which makes you more dependent on angel and devil rooms. However that's exponentially harder to get because unless you start off with an abundantly strong combo (which shouldn't be a win condition at early-mid game), you just lose read hearts and a chance for those rooms.

But honestly, all of this is fine if it weren't for the final boss fights (spoilers maybe).

The boss fights were a part of the risk and reward system, where you would get extra items to help you fight the boss. But the way the boss fights are set up, you get way less items than you would compared to a fight with the two normal final bosses (unnamed for spoilers).

The bosses are stupidly fast, fat and give you bullet hell, which combod with the lack of items make it very frustrating to fight. Most of my time is spent refreshing hoping for a god item at the beginning.

And all of this was played in normal mode because i spent a good day in hard mode and simply gave up because I couldn't get anything done.

UPDATE: I just lost 6 hearts to the final boss because 1.2 speed wasn't fast enough to move out of his suck. I love game designs that screw you for no reason.

very well optimized. My ftx 4090 works well and gives a lot of fps in this game.

This game is amazing. As a person who loves FPS, I wanted to experience something new, something... different. The game was given to me as a birthday gift and for the first while I didn't play it much because I wasn't as immersed into the game. However, as I started to discover the flexibility the game provides I started to like it more and eventually found myself playing this game non stop.

The large quantity of guns and fun to play characters makes every new save a different experience, despite the storyline being the same. The missions the game offer are all unique in it's own way and usually have funny twists to it. Grinding in this game does not feel repetitive and every achievement or loot gotten from the grind feels refreshing.

TL:DR is gud game if you liek FPS and want to try RPG but dont want to use some petty swords and arrows but instead guns and more guns

got it for the mods. was not disappointed

I mean, who doesn't want to play a game that has its own economy thats bigger and better than 20% of the countries in the world?
