While some may build for a few central towers surrounding a hub that buffs them all, others may choose to spread their towers out across the map. Either way works on most maps if you have the right upgrades. There are all kinds of map, such as forest, beachs (sea) and tracks. Later levels do get more challenging, meaning you'll need to either play a game that's difficult or you leave to play a game that's far too easy. There are different modes, such as solo, co-op and etc. You can play with friends and family by making your own map and send them the map code. You can also earn in-game badges by doing achivements. Solo or co-op, whatever difficulty you or your team completes, you will get a badge for it. There are all kinds of easy, medium and hard mode badges to achieve.

They have something called, Odyssey Event, which gives you some days to complete. Basically you can choose your own towers and powers, it goes from Easy to Hard. Each mode you start out with different lives, Easy is 200, Med is 100, and Hard is 50, and each one has a set of three island. Let's say you start your Easy Odyssey, and you finish with 160 health, you will continue on with your remaining health to the very end of that Easy mode till you complete all three island. Completing each mode, you will get rewards. One of those rewards is called a Trophy, which you can use to buy, avatars, customization for the balloons, emotes, music and etc in the, "Trophy Store".

The game also features rotating challenges you can play to earn rewards and achievements. These challenges are similar to the scenarios except they are easier to play through.
