First couple of days of server instability seem to be dying down. Performance is improving.

Shame it happened but once those issues are resolved it's a solid build of Blood Bowl. It runs much better than BB2 and the new ruleset is a fresh change

Still needs work on some visibility issues and it should have had a wizard or something to walk you through the display preferences prior to your first match. Some things like player career stats and team record being missing are just weird oversights

They've had 3 or 4 years of dev. Why they didn't have a couple of developers just building league tools, competition admin tools and stats stuff away from the game engine I'll never know but wasn't a priority I guess

A lot of review bombing going on by people upset about the paid for cosmetics, just don't buy them and you'll be fine

Should probably have launched with a couple more teams in too. I know they want to stagger their release but none of the undead teams at all, pro elves as the only elf choice and then having basically 3 or 4 teams full of humans and 2 of orcs is a poor decision. If it was free to play and they needed the sales of dlc then fine but this is a full price game. Should have more races at launch, simple as that.

Aside from the things mentioned above it's Blood Bowl. It's a good game and most people will enjoy playing it so I'm giving it a thumbs up despite the poorly managed launch. Sadly releasing games in an untested state is the norm these days so it's no worse than anything else.

I genuinely believe this is the best game ever made. It will make you curse and scream sometimes but the highs outweigh the lows.

It's better than it's rivals in every technical aspect and it is completely and totally free unless you want to spend money on vanity graphics etc for your own enjoyment.
