The narrator is the true genius in this game. The Lovecrafian atmosphere enhances the experience greatly.

It looks so simple, but it is a gem. I've enjoyed many hours roaming around the space lanes, trading, spying, patrolling, pirating, exploring and more. The replay-ability of the game is fantastic. Once I got into the whole 'role-playing' aspect of the game, I was hooked.

Early days, but my initial response is that this was well worth the price. It is a rich and entertaining experience.

My favorite aspects of the game are the leaders advancement, event storyline and race customization. It seems the paradox interface suits this genre very well.

This is a lot of fun to play. The pause function means you can take your time deciding on your strategy. I'm hooked.

This is an awesome game. Get it. :)

If you own Medieval Total War II, then you really need to get this one too. A lot of the better mods have been created using the Kingdoms expansion.

This is an excellent game with enough factions to keep you entertained for endless hours. I've played the campaign as England, France, Spain, Holy Roman Empire, Byzantine, Egypt and more. Each gives a new angle to the game. On top of that you get a great modding community that has then gone on to improve the base game and create new challenging scenarios.

I played the original Sid Meier's Pirates on an Amiga computer and loved it. When this remake came out for the PC I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. It recreates the excitement of the older version quite well. A fun game to play and I don't think you will be disappointed.

The best version of Railroad Tycoon is 'Second Century' as far as I am concerned. This is the one to play if you like Railroad games. I very rarely play the campaign game. I start a scenario in an area of the world that I enjoy, usually the USA, and I play sandbox mode just for the pleasure of watching my company grow and my rail empire expand. Great value for rail lovers.

I have got a lot of play time out of this. It has great replayability. The music creates a good atmosphere and the game mechanics don't get in the way of the enjoyment. Guaranteed many hours of enjoyment.
