Been looking for a game to play with my girlfriend and I love the fallout series.

She is not a fan of the nitty gritty aspects (crafting items, modding guns, etc.) but has a blast wasting raiders and mutants.

That's where the good part ends.

Quest progression is NOT coop. Anything involving an instanced interior requires you to do it per team member. It really kills the fun when you litteraly have to play the game two times. I haven't gotten to a point where a decision has lead us to different paths but if/when it does its going to be a pain.

Horrible implementation of coop. Bethesda didn't just drop the ball they completely deflated it and dunked it in the toilet.

Spawned, got napalmed respawned and stupidly spawned back into the fire. 10/10 game just don't spawn in a stupid spot.

It is the supposed sequel to Verdun yet it removed most of the features and weapons that the previous game had. Would not recommend.

Servers are empty and full of bots and horrible hit detection.

Have to spend money to do anything. They should make it free enough to play with friends without paying. If it is good I am sure people would be more then happy to pay money. Instead they pass it off as free even though it barely meets demo quality.

A little (very) rough around the edges but ♥♥♥♥ it was 99 cents

Honestly ill probably get 8 hours of fun out of this game if not more and for only 99 cents where are you going to get that bang for your buck anywhere else?

Litterally an hour into the game:

Pro:
Smooth aiming compared to Dayz
Decent framerate

Anti cheat feels non existant (had 3 people fly around killing me)
Loot is slim to none
Nothing but bambies shooting each other with a bow

I would bring up the crashes and other glitches but I am aware this is an Alpha. Would not at all reccomend to a friend in this state at all. At the moment I feel as ripped off as I did when I bought Warz...

Orignal Review: Everything was all fine and well until patch 0.43 where zombies we broken. I like them to be somewhat of a threat but now that they are simply game breaking.

Update: After a couple of updates the zombies in 0.43 were fixed as they were constantly going through walls and whatnot that no longer seems to be a problem "for the most part".

New Review:

The zombies.... Im glad the wall glitching was fixed but now they are just plain stupid:

1) They horde (which is cool and I like that)
2) There are alot more of them (which is also something I kinda wanted)
3) They hit harder (ok I guess they could use that)
4) They have better manuvering then their previous versions (not cool with this, zombies are dead and stupid not elite hunters)
5) They hit faster (combine about 2 - 3 times more hits + the damage buff = insane)
6) They are now 5 hits to kill with an axe where as before they were only 1

Im fine with about half of those in there. I dont care which 3 of the 6 are put in but as of now it's just over the top.

If it was my pick I would have zombies which are strong, somewhat faster (not as fast as they are not though) but damn stupid. These things are dead in reality this is a Zombie survival however players are a factor aswell. This game is too clunky to have zombies like this. If it aimed, moved and ran as smoothly as other games I would love these zombies but the game is just so damn clunky (as is Arma 2 and Arma 3).

Current rating of the game : 4/10 stars because at the moment it's just impossible to do anything with the zeds like this.
