My The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt review

The positives

+Amazing main story with amazing characters
+Maybe the best side quests of any game ever, with the only real challenger being Cyberpunk 2077
+Amazing graphics, especially for a 2015 game
+Great artstyle
+Excellent atmosphere in every corner of the game, with some areas shining even brighter than others
+Fantastic and diverse world, ranging from muddy swamps to snowy mountains to countryside villages to southern vineyards to huge cities, with Novigrad being one of the best cities in any game ever
+Extremely varied enemies, with there being well over 100 different types of enemies including unique bosses, and there are not that many unique bosses
+All NPCs in the game are extremely well modeled with meticulously textured models, even all the unsignificant NPCs you can't even properly interact with
+The combat system is deep and interesting, with there being an abundance of tools at your disposal
+There are basically zero mindless quests in the game, with even the most irrelevant seeming quests including some form of depth. Even the treasure hunts, which are closest to mindless fetch quests this game has, are still leagues above most of Skyrim's fetch quests
+The dialogue is ALWAYS extremely well written and voice acted
+The animations are excellent, especially for a 2015 game. The facial animations are STILL some of the best the gaming industry has ever seen
+The game is fantastically detailed, with the game accounting for the most outlandish routes, quest orders, dialogue choices and whatever else
+Progression feels rewarding, with the player unlocking lots of new abilities throughout the game
+Arguably the best sound design of any game ever made, with the world sounding extremely immersive and believable
+Great and noticeably unique soundtrack
+The choices you make in the game actually matter, way more so than in most games. Even the smallest, seemingly irrelevant choices can impact the ending you get
+The game is extremely lengthy which is a great thing and at no point (apart from the Skellige collectibles) does it get repetitive
+The game contains the greatest minigame ever made in the form of Gwent
+By far the best DLCs of any game ever made

The negatives

-The movement is quite janky
-The horse riding sucks (although this is an issue in almost every game that has horses)
-Some of the hitboxes can suck
-Fighting big enemies can be pretty clunky
-A bit too much recycled character models
-Too many recycled voice actors
-The way money works isn't very good
-Most of the armor (apart from the Witcher sets) looks pretty ugly
-The ridiculous Skellige question mark collectibles, which make 100% playthroughs quite a chore
-The third act of the game is a bit too short when compared to the early & mid game
-The exploration could stand to be a bit more interesting
-Some quests are a bit bugged and a chore to complete due to the buggy nature of them
-Some quests and questlines are glaringly unfinished
-After the early game, all singular enemies (even bosses) start becoming extremely easy, even on the highest difficulty
-Performance in crowded areas such as Novigrad or Oxenfurt dips highly with the next-gen update
-Wayyyy too much crashing since the next-gen update
-Some of the changes to the narrative from the books are jarring, odd and don't make sense. Luckily there aren't a lot of these changes, but some of them really hurt the experience.
