Why waste time doing boring stuff like reading or work, when there is a whole world of video games to be played and enjoyed? A backlog of games to never get through

If you want to play a great and classic RPG, go no further than the Baldur's Gate series. Continuing an interesting story with an even better world building story, you'll have great npcs in your party, fun 3rd edition D&D gameplay, and a fun time single player or party. I grew up with Baldur's Gate I and II, so my hours here do not reflect my true time with this game. The enhanced edition done by Beamdog is a nice way to make it more up to date for its time and adds a bit more diversity of gameplay, but not so much to destroy the original vibe of the game.

If you love a good story with some slow burn, you will spend soo much time in this game. Its not BG3, but do not let that stop you. Its fun characters, interesting lore to delve into, and figuring out the tactics of your boss fights give you everything you would want in a tabletop version without all the paper. Then, there are mods out there to add great things into it as well from a community that has loved this series since its inception.

Its a good time and I cannot recommend this game more if you like old school rpgs. If it has to be more BG3 or Dragon Age style and look, you may not have as much fun for you, and that is okay.

A classic RPG title that any rpg fan should play and experience. Great characters, good top-down combat based in older dnd rules that make the game more stategic, and a very interesting story. This was the first game I played growing up, going through each disc that it spanned across and loved every second of it. The series is so much fun, though I have not played dragonspear. Really can't say much negatively about it

"I hate that girl saffron, he would like her" ~Delaney, in reference to 'Five Dates' the hit romance title from Good Gate Media, which was released on November 17th, 2020.
