Arma is literally the best game I've ever played in 20+ years of gaming. Perhaps the only drawback to this masterpiece is how poor the optimization is. The game is an absolute glutton for processing power, so keep that in mind when trying it out.

Some great key points:
---Replayability : Singleplayer/Multiplayer options, Servers all over the globe.
---Modding : An amazing modding commnity. Everything from workshop missions to new weapons, vehicles and models are available, free of cost.
---Variety of Play : You can be running around in the trenches with an assault rifle one minute, then jump in a tank for an armored assault while calling in your buddy to do a CAS strike with an attack chopper. It has all the mobility of battlefield without the feeling of being constrained.
---Sandbox : Exile mod, Wasteland, etc. offer base building, scavenging, interesting multiplayer opportunities and plenty of combat.


Arma has literally spun off so many other games that were adopted just from a small portion of what Arma is... Titles like H1Z1, PUBG, DayZ, etc. are all a result of an idea that started in Arma... and in my opinion, Arma continues to do all of them better.

If you're considering buying this game, the only thing that should hold you back is if your PC is beast enough to run it.
